Global Travel Professional® (GTP) Certification

The GTP® Certification program is designed to raise industry standards in a reliable way while recognizing individuals who demonstrate a commitment to leadership and knowledge of the business travel industry.

GBTA has curated a body of knowledge based on a job analysis survey of skills and information essential for business travel professionals to thrive. The four major domains of knowledge tested by the examination are Strategic Business Planning, Buyer/Supplier Relations, Travel Program Administration, and Data/Analytics/Finance. Ideal GTP Certification candidates will have at least three years of work experience in the business travel industry and have a strong understanding of the four domains outlined in the body of knowledge.
