Committee Opportunities

We’re always excited to see members looking for ways to get more involved! Serving on a committee is a great way to contribute your skills, connect with other members, learn more about UBTA, and gain experience for future leadership opportunities.

How to Get Involved

• Stay active. Must be an active member of the UBTA. Attend our monthly meetings and get to know the chapter, our programs, and fellow members.

• Let us know you’re interested. Contact the UBTA Secretary to be added to our volunteer interest list in StarChapter. [email protected]

• Watch for opportunities. Directors may select committee members from the interest list based on their needs, upcoming projects, and member interests or experience.

• Lend a hand. We may also reach out to volunteers for special projects and larger UBTA events throughout the year.

Committee positions are optional and based on each Director’s needs. Directors may select their own committee members from the volunteer interest list based on the needs of their role, projects, and member interests. Committee service is a great way to gain experience, contribute to UBTA, and build toward future leadership opportunities.
